Geocell system allows sustainable vegetation over impermeable liner systems without damaging the protection materials such as geomembranes.
KRT® Geocell Cellular Confinement System can be used as geomembrane protection layer for liners (impervious geomembranes) to prevent damage due to external factors. Geocell system protects the integrity of the geomembrane. The use of the Geocell permits construction of steeper slopes, while maintaining the strength and integrity of the liner.
Geocell system allows vegetation over impermeable liner systems by using tendons and anchor trenches instead of stakes avoiding possible punctures on the liner. 3D cellular Confinement provides additional stability by integrating tendons on steeper slopes and embankments or when a geomembrane or hard soil/rock surface prevents anchoring with stakes.
KRT® Geocell offers an effective solution for holding fill materials (soil, concrete, etc.) on geomembrane liners or covers while protecting the liner from degradation, puncturing and wildlife damage.
